After more than 30 years of serving customers across South and East Kent, Tait Tree Surgery is entering an exciting new chapter.

In April 2026, founder Keith Tait retired after more than three decades of running the family business and passed Tait Tree Surgery on to his son, Cameron.

While this marks a change for the business, one thing remains the same: our commitment to providing professional, reliable and high-quality tree surgery to our customers.

A family business since 1991

Tait Tree Surgery was established in 1991 and, over the years, we've had the opportunity to work with thousands of domestic customers, businesses, councils and other organisations throughout Kent.

From individual trees in residential gardens to larger commercial and public-sector projects, we've always believed that good tree surgery is about more than simply getting the job done. It's about working safely, respecting people's properties and leaving every site clean and tidy.

Growing up around the business has given Cameron an appreciation of the standards and values that have helped establish the Tait name locally. The aim now is to build on that foundation while continuing to provide the same friendly and professional service our customers have come to expect.

The business may be entering a new chapter, but the Tait family name remains at the heart of it.
